This five-day intensive residential course covers all aspects of performance. From practice methods effecting performance and psychology in performance, to performance presentation and communication in all areas of performance.
- Masterclasses – exploring the interpretation of music through different genres
- Clinics – practical advice on sound development, vibrato, tuning, tone matching, articulation, altissimo
- Forum on effective practice techniques and management of time.
- Specialist classes on traditional and contemporary bass clarinet repertoire.
- Chamber music – from duos to quintets and small single reed choir
- Daily Concerts – given by delegates with nightly concerts given by artistic directors.
- Two full time pianist available throughout the course.
Set in the course’s new home at the purpose built music department of Uppingham School with its exceptional performance facilities and rehearsal and practice space, this course will encompasses all areas of performance.
